‘How It Ends’

A dystopian adventure road trip as Will (Theo James – Divergent, London Fields), on a business trip to Chicago, must battle his way back to his pregnant wife in Seattle – with only his despised father-in-law for support.

Underwhelming in its structure, predictable in its narrative, director David M. Rosenthal (A Single Shot, The Perfect Guy) brings little to a seen-it-all-before clash between lawyer, Theo, and former military officer Tom (a wasted Forest Whittaker – The Last King of Scotland, The Butler) as they deal with army roadblocks and lawlessness.

How It Ends is a poorly presented yarn that, with its ending, leaves viewers totally baffled.
